Not Cranking Over Turn Ignition To Crank It Will Not Start
What fuse turns on with ignition. The service airbag light came on the display and has remained continually on. It was trying to turn it off but just would not. When you turn the ignition on all you are doing is opening this connection so the cdi is no longer grounded. In the acc position the radio or fan may be energized. In the run position the engine control module is energized. Joined may 12 2013 545 posts.
Relay should have 3 wires black blackblue and blueyellow. I havent yet found a fuse that turns off with the ignition or even 30 minutes later. The ignition switch itself is connected to the ignition cylinder by a shaft or lever. Anyone know a fuse that turns on and off with the ignition. Inside the ignition switch several contacts connect vital electrical systems needed to start and run the car. Fuses come in all types and varieties but they all work in a similar fashion.

If something interrupts or damages the magneto or ignition system its possible that the voltage can become errant and blow the fuse do to current overload. I dont know if the fuse is always on but somehow the wiring to the sunroof is switched but i wouldnt know where to find that wiring anyway mine doesnt actually have a sunroof but the fuse is still there for it. The main fuse is not part of this circuit and the only thing that stops the ignition working is the kill switch and the ignition switch which both connect a wire from the cdi unit to ground negative the frame. That small metal strip creates a sort of bottleneck in the system a point of high impedance where electricity will slow down and turn into heat.
Automotive ignition fuse malfunctions pose a few unique problems primarily since theyre usually not the only thing on that circuit. Once that strip gets hot enough it melts snaps and. Then i went to the dealership and got it replaced. The ignition relay is normally found in the fuse box situated underneath the hood and it transfers electricity from the battery to the ignition components which allows you to start the car in the blink of an eye. When i have a passenger i worry that if something were to happen they might not be safe. These wires can generate up to 10000 volts for the spark plug.
I wanna wire some lights to this using an add a fuse. I opened the hood and took the fuel pump fuse out in order to turn it off. The magnetos flywheel is activated and spins a magnet around two sets of copper wires stacked on top of each other. And finally in the start position the starter relay is engaged. Relay is triggered by ecu grounding blueyellow wire which also comes from ignition coil and has the relay tied inrelays purpose is to cut off fuel pump in event of crash etc and motor dies. In my 2012 focus the sunroof fuse isnt ignition switched i even waited more than an hour.
Using my key i started to turn off the car but i couldnt because the key would not turn. Generally speaking in the off position the ignition switch doesnt connect anything.
