Plug in a switch or install the light switch go to your mobile phones settings and connect it to wemos wifi access point go to the wemo app and itll automatically detect the device and start the setup process enter your wifis password and the app will automatically connect the device to your network. Move the device nearer the router for a stronger signal. If there is a strong signal however check the router and see if it is set to a static channel. This means that the device cant connect to the router. Check the issue my wemo device is blinking orange.
This can be because of a network issue. Though the app is saying not detected wemo is connected to your home wi fi network and it keeps working on a schedule timer etc. A blinking status light signifies that there is something with your wemo device that needs attention. Wemo also works with ifttt connecting your home electronics to a whole world of online apps. Connect each of the two black wires from the wemo light switch to the available switch liveload wires. Otherwise your wemo device may have difficulties connecting and maintaining a connection to it.
