Coolant exits the engine at the coolant neck on top and flows back to both the radiator and a return to the engine at the y pipe. 210 220 fahrenheit so around 20 30 degrees above engine temperature and also showing higher figures earlier in the warm up process than engine temperature gauge engine coolant temperature gauge located under tachometer usually vertical as far as i remember.

Was just wondering why there were no color indicators like on the oil temp guage. Whats the norm for cylinder head temp. Cylinder head temperature. I see temps for the head as high as 223 fahrenheit in my mustang although it usually stays between 185 and 209 fahrenheit most of the time. If not then straight up temperature is ok. That sounds completely normal.
Not from the coolant temperature sensor. The coolant temp was well within normal operating limits and the cht did drop back around 198 or so when i left.
