Was just wondering why there were no color indicators like on the oil temp guage. Whats the norm for cylinder head temp. Cylinder head temperature. I see temps for the head as high as 223 fahrenheit in my mustang although it usually stays between 185 and 209 fahrenheit most of the time. If not then straight up temperature is ok. That sounds completely normal.
Not from the coolant temperature sensor. The coolant temp was well within normal operating limits and the cht did drop back around 198 or so when i left.
