All too often track bars are made out to be an enemy and thats just not the case. Irs is top dog and a very good choice for street and road track.

3 Link Vs 4 Link Long Arm Kit
4 link vs 3 link. Our buggy killer kit is a double triangulated link system. Im thinking about doing a link set up in my truck but im new to the link suspension and was wondering witch is better 3 or 4 and what companys have the best link suspension set up. And just to make this topic a little more fun post some pictures of your linked toyotas flexing. Diy 3 link 4 link suspension jeep tj stretch episode 1 duration. Dirt lifestyle 149025 views. Drag racing the 4 link is still a better choice.
There is nothing bad about a 4 link its a great suspension and the car will handle better then probably any other car you have driven. Either will flex just fine if designed properly. On a similar note you can design a 3 link with a huge amount of anti swat and roll overseer characteristics that would make it handle better on the strip than in a corner. Theres no better method to setting the roll center height and keeping an axle laterally constrained than a track bar period. A 4 link can be designed to go in a straight line but that doesnt mean it has to be designed for a straight line. 3 link rears are very cool and if executed correctly will perform even better than a triangulated 4 link.
Obviously it also depends on what you can fit under the vehicle. Triangulated front 4 link pretty much means your going full hydro. A three link could go either way but if you want to keep a steering box you need to go three link with a panhard. Performance the biggest advantage that a 4 link kit and more specifically our buggy killer kit will out perform a 3 link system is the geometry of the links and the lack of a panhard bar which limits up travel and increases wear and tear. The 3 link makes the car better for street and road track. Thanks for the help everyone.
