I just used what ever 3m was for sale at joaann fabrics use the 90 difference is one is alot stronger than the other the 77 wiil sag away after awhile heatweight and gravity. I bough some new cloth from seyberts and was all set to use 3m super 77 to adhere it to my slate i do not have a backer board when i called seyberts mechanic and he recommended high strength 90. The 90 seems to hold up the best in the high heat areas. Naturally what you spray it on makes a difference too. I went through the whole list of other adhesives like other brands 3m 77 water based brushed on etc. I wouldnt use it for my headliner but for the doors im thinking itd be sufficient right.
